Protection
Come on now, this is a wiki. Protecting pages should be a last resort from frequent vandalism. What if someone wants to contribute? :p --Mcbob 15:29, 15 June 2006 (PDT)
- Well, they could just register on the forums and THEN edit stuff... It was decided like this to prevent vandalism in the first place and keep the stuff kinda clean from people who think they know stuff, but actually mess it up. --DaVince 23:49, 19 June 2006 (PDT)
- Could be because it's a special page. Probably not. But it's probably for the best that the main page can only be edited by the mods and admins. You can edit the news highlight and stuff like that in the main page though... --DaVince 06:48, 21 June 2006 (PDT)
Columnizing the main page
I notice that there's an empty space at the right of the main page. Maybe the stuff should be divided into 2 columns? It will allow the visitor of the Wiki to see more news/highlights/whatever at the start, too. --DaVince 00:11, 20 June 2006 (PDT)
- Seconded. The widths of the sections in the column are uneven too, and it looks wonky. Is it happening to anybody else? Firefox 1.5 on WinXP and Firefox 1.0 on Linux respectively. --Tunginobi 06:01, 21 June 2006 (PDT)
- Well, I just sized down the view of the page (ctrl+minus in Firefox), and when small enough things do become columns. Just make all of these parts equal-sized and a bit less wide than they are now and things should show up as perfectly well columned. :) --DaVince 06:50, 21 June 2006 (PDT)
Examples category?
I would very much like to see a category to list examples and example files.

Games Category
The Games category needs to get more attention from visitors. Would it be possible to add a link to Games in one of the sidebar menus?

Logo misaligned.

the extra wide line at the top
hey, can someone fix the stylesheet so that the line at the top (which underlines the link tabs) is either moved left or shrunken in width? thanks. --NeoLogiX 00:06, 6 November 2007 (GMT)
- Firefox DOM Inspector says that it's something to do with the DIV with ID "p-cactions", which contains an invisible H5 and a visible UL that spans into that extra width. Can't fix it without access to the wiki stylesheets. --Tunginobi 07:46, 6 November 2007 (GMT)

- Turns out the offending line is in the page MediaWiki:Monobook.css, but it's protected. One of you wiki admins can probably unprotect it for a minute then edit p-cactions by removing that width definition. --NeoLogiX 20:44, 8 November 2007 (GMT)
