Sir Boingers and the Quest for Cupcakes (and Justice)

Short name: Sir Boingers.

This game was an entry made for the Sphere Retro Game competition, held April-May 2010 by Radnen on the Spherical forums. Its goal was to feel like an old, challenging game, much like those you can find on old consoles like the NES.

Story

This game is not much story-driven. You are Sir Boingers, a noble knight with his trusty jumpbird, on a Quest to retrieve cupcakes from the land known as Perilterria (or the Dangerzone). That's pretty much it.

Game features

Fun and challenging. The controls and levels are easy to get the hang of but difficult to master.
8-bit style. The game has a distinct retro feeling to it, from graphics to gameplay, sound and music.

Extendability. You are able to create, play and share your own level sets. They’ll appear right in the game’s menu, and if you send them to us we’ll feature them right here!
